  • Thomas G. Potts, shareholder. Mr. Potts was born at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, September 17, 1948. He was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar and to U.S. Tax Court in 1977; U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas in 1978; U. S. District Court, Northern District of Oklahoma in 1980; U.S. Court of Federal Claims and U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit in 1981; and to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1983.

    Mr. Potts received a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma in1970; a M.S.B.A., cum laude, from Boston University in 1974; a J.D. from the University of Tulsa in 1976; a L.L.M. in Taxation from Southern Methodist University in 1980. He was a member of Phi Delta Phi and a staff member of the Tulsa Law Journal in 1976.

    He has been named in The Best Lawyers in America in the area of Taxation in 1991 and from 1994 to the present and was listed in Oklahoma Super Lawyers in 2006.

    He served as Staff Attorney, Office of Chief Counsel, IRS, 1977 - 1980. He donated his time as an Adjunct Federal Settlement Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma from 1992 through 2003. He held the position of Tax Attorney, Cities Service Company from 1980 through1982. Mr. Potts also served as a 1st Lt. Infantry in the U.S. Army and as a Colonel in the U.S. Air Force (Reserve, Ret.). Mr. Potts is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the International Society of Primerus Law Firms. Mr. Potts practices in the areas of Tax Litigation and Criminal Taxation.

  • David W. Wulfers, shareholder. Mr. Wulfers was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, December 19, 1954. He was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 1981; U.S. District Court Northern District of Oklahoma in 1981; U.S. District Court Western District of Oklahoma in 1981; and U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit in 1981.

    Mr. Wulfers received a B.S. in Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, cum laude, from Southeast Missouri State University in 1977; substantially completed a Masters of Business Administration with emphasis in management from Southeast Missouri State University in 1979 (partial completion of MBA with emphasis in management 1979); and a J.D., from the University of Tulsa in 1981.

    He was a Staff Attorney at Sooner Oil Leasing from 1981 through a portion of 1982, and a Staff Attorney at Samson Resources Company in 1984 through a portion of 1986. Mr. Wulfers has held a position of Adjunct Instructor at Tulsa Community College from 1984 - present. He is certified as a network attorney for AARP Legal Services Network. Mr. Wulfers is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, American Bar Association, Tulsa County Bar Association and the International Society of Primerus Law Firms.   • Pamela K. Wheeler, shareholder. Ms. Wheeler was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 1974 and to the U.S. Tax Court in 2005.

    Ms. Wheeler received a B.S. from Randolph-Macon Woman's College in 1972; a J. D. from Oklahoma University in 1974; and Masters in Taxation from the University of Tulsa in 2001.

    She has been a Certified Public Accountant in Oklahoma since 1979. Ms. Wheeler is a member of the Oklahoma and American Bar Associations and the International Society of Primerus Law Firms. She practices in the areas of Taxation.

  • Todd Maxwell Henshaw, shareholder. Mr. Henshaw was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, November 19, 1950. He was admitted to the Minnesota bar in 1976; U.S. District Court, District of Minnesota in 1978; Oklahoma Bar, U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Oklahoma and U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit, all in 1981.

    Mr. Henshaw received an A.B. from Carleton College in 1972; and a J.D. from Washington University in 1976, during which he was a member of the Order of the Coif. He was also editor of the Washington University Law Quarterly in 1975 - 1976.

    Mr. Henshaw is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. the Oklahoma Bar Association and the International Society of Primerus Law Firms. Mr. Henshaw practices in the areas of Bankruptcy; Bankruptcy Chapter 7; Bankruptcy Chapter 11; Bankruptcy Chapter 13; Commercial Litigation; and Corporate Law.

  • Shannon K. Davis, shareholder. Mr. Davis joined the firm in 2006, and his practice includes Business Law, Real Estate Law, Commercial Law, Civil Litigation, Complex Litigation and Appellate Work. Prior to joining the firm, he was a solo practitioner representing a diverse clientele in various matters which included family law, criminal defense, appellate work, collections, transactional work, wills, trusts and probate. Mr. Davis has extensive litigation and appellate experience, including the prosecution of a class action adversary case in bankruptcy court, which consisted of approximately 1,100 class members.

    Mr. Davis graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1987, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. After receiving his undergraduate degree, Mr. Davis took a position as an accountant with Conoco, Inc., where he worked until 1990. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1993, receiving his Juris Doctorate with Distinction. While attending law school he was a member of the Oklahoma Law Review and the Dean's Honor Roll, received the American Jurisprudence Award, and served as an Intern with the Oklahoma Tax Commission.

    Mr. Davis is licensed by, and has practiced before, the Oklahoma Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

    Mr. Davis is a member of the International Society of Primerus Law Firms, the Oklahoma Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Tulsa County Bar Association. He is certified as a network attorney for AARP Legal Services Network.

  • David T. Potts, associate. Mr. Potts was born July 7, 1978, Dallas, Texas. He was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 2006; U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma in 2007; and U.S. Tax Court in 2008.

    Mr. Potts received a B.A. in Psychology from Trinity University located in San Antonio Texas in 2001 and J. D. from the University of Tulsa in 2005.

  • David F. James, of counsel. Mr. James was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, October 15, 1940. He was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 1964 and to the U.S. Supreme Court in 2002.

    Mr. James received a B.S. and B.A. from Tulsa University in 1962 and a L.L.B. from Tulsa University in 1964. He was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, Omicron Delta Kappa and was managing editor of the Tulsa Law Journal in 1963 - 1964.

    He has been named in The Best Lawyers in America in the area of Trusts and Estates from 1991 to the present.

    Mr. James was an Adjunct Professor of corporation law at the University of Tulsa College of Law from 1987 - 1998. He was a Staff Attorney at the Securities and Exchange Commission in 1964 - 1965 and an Assistant District Attorney in Tulsa County, Oklahoma from 1965 through 1967. He served as president of the Oklahoma Young Lawyers Conference in 1969 - 1970. He is a member of the Oklahoma and Tulsa County Bar Associations.
